Zoe and Sveva recommend a nice complete tour to discover every perspective of this beautiful lake. Treat yourself to a short visit to the Pile- dwelling Museum (UNESCO heritage site) and do not forget your camera! Tip: at Mezzolago follow the detour into the village that allows you to avoid a stretch of unpaved road ... the reward will be one of the best views of Lake Ledro |
distance: 4.5km - travel time: 1.30h - difference in height: not relevant
According to Beatrice, this is the most relaxing route. You can enjoy the green of Val Concei through the three small villages of Locca, Enguiso and Lenzumo.
Tip: if you want to lengthen the route, continue in the valley floor following part of the nature trail towards the Rifugio al Faggio. Be careful, you could cross some elf in the woods.
Giacomo likes to go fast and on the cycle path you can really run! The complete route up to Lago d'Ampola is for the most trained. For those who want to travel only a stretch, Giacomo recommends a nice break at the playground in Le Barusse. | ![]() |
Nicolò does not like to follow obligatory paths, his favorite walk touches country roads, countryside, meadows, woods and part of the cycle path. A nice mix with a final break at the playground. The route starts from Bezzecca and passes through the Val Molini to reach the small church in Santa Lucia.

Gemma and Gabriele adore Piana di Pur and with their mother they walk up to the meadows of Malga Cita where they stop undisturbed for a nice picnic or to pick up some beautiful flowers. This route follows the same asphalt road as the first leg and on the way back, from Pur beach to Malga Cita. Tip: the road runs along part of the path of "Ledro Land Art", it is fun to look for its nice works of art hidden in nature! |
In a stroller up to the Refuge
From Rifugio Garibaldi, in Tremalzo, you can quickly reach the Malga di Bezzecca, where in summer you can witness the preparation of the cheese in a traditional way and know how the malga is managed. An uncompromising walk, with a negligible difference in height and without problems even with the stroller.
Immersed in the green of the Valle-di-Ledro mountains, in the shadow of the rocks of Pichea, the Pernici Refuge is the ideal point for the departure and / or the arrival of excursions of varying difficulty and length. One of these is the one that comes from Malga Tràt to the Refuge: a walk of about thirty minutes on the forest road (we suggest technical stroller or, failing that, using the baby carrier).
Built in 1929 by members of the SAT section of Riva del Garda, the Refuge has rooms with four or six beds for a total capacity of 30 people. The cuisine is genuine and based on the typical dishes of the Trentino tradition. A particular care in the choice of products at zero kilometer, guarantees the quality of the ingredients and the enhancement of the local economy.
