Alpiedi - Tappa 4, Rifugio Pernici - Bivacco Campel

Discover tenacious plants and bold animals that have adapted to a vertical life amongst rocks and screes. Millions of years ago the mountains lay at the bottom of the sea. Many fossils from that time can still be seen in the layers of rock. The stretch from Rifugio Pernici to Dosso della Torta and Cima Cadria is the hardest of the whole itinerary. Caution is required. From Malga Cadria head to Pozza and then Bivacco Campel. Spend the night at the bivouac.   The stretch between Rifugio Pernici and Mount Cadria is part of the Peace Path. Water supply is not available along the way. There is a fountain at the bivouac.
