From Riva del Garda you take the Strada del Ponale trail (watch out because of many hikers and bikers) up to the beginning of the tunnel. In order to avoid cycling on the main road, we recommend crossing the bridge to Pregasina and turning right immediately into a paved trail, which leads to the village of Prè. The route continues into the village and straight on past the church. From this point on the road is almost all surfaced, and although it is quite steep in some places it provides an alternative route to Molina, avoiding the busy traffic of the main road. In Molina, we continue along the Ponale river and then along the southern shore of Lake Ledro, passing Pur, as far as Pieve. By the Sailing Centre starts the cycle path that, almost level, continues until Lake Ampola.
