Ledro Trek

Two loops unfolding on the valley floor and on the mountain side which embrace Lake Ledro and offer stunning views. Both looops are accessible almost all year round.

LEDRO TREK LOW

Ledro Trek Low is a 19 km one-day trek along paths and trails overlooking Lake Ledro. It is also possible to turn Ledro Trek Low into two legs by returning to the starting point along the lakeside promenade at the end of each trekking day.

Highlights: Wonderful views of Lake Ledro, village centre of Pieve, Madonnina di Besta, Pile-Dwellings Museum of Lake Ledro, Ledro Land Art.

A nice swim in Lake Ledro is the best possible way to conclude Ledro Trek! In the Summer months water temperature exceeds 20°C.

GIRO DELLA MADONNINA DI BESTA

One doesn’t need to climb the mountains of Valle di Ledro to enjoy a breathtaking view over Lake Ledro. The Madonnina of Besta dominates the village below and encompasses at a glance the whole of Lake Ledro. The view from the Madonnina is at its best at sunset, when the sky turns into shades of orange and red which are reflected in the waters of Lake Ledro.
