HIKING PROGRAM - The Flowering in Dromaè
MEzzolago, Via San Michele, ore 09:00
Exciting botanical hike to Dromaè, a natural botanical garden, where, different kinds of flowers bloom, like wild peony and white narcissus. To go up, we take first the botanical path and then continue along Austrian trenches from the First World War, recently renovated.
Meeting point: in front of the church of Mezzolago, at 9:00 a.m. Lasting time:6 hours. Difference in level: up 750 m; down 750 m.

The walking program is reserved to all guest of Valle di Ledro, starts on Mai, 8 and ends on September, 21. The participation is free of charge in Mai, June and September, in July and August it costs:
- Children until 14 years old FREE
- Adults € 2,00 (walks A-L), € 3,00 (walks M-Q)
Please, give notice of your participation within the day before in the Tourist Information Office of Valle di Ledro.
The half day walks (A-L) are suitable also for families with children in school age. The daily mountain hikes (M-Q) are easy from the technical point of view; nevertheless the difference in level and the walking time require certain training.
Please wear suitable shoes and clothes and bring with you a packed lunch by the daily hikes.
The Organization declines any responsibility for damages to persons and things before, during and after the excursions. In case of rain the walk will not take place. There may be some changes in the programme.

Along the torrent Massangla, we go first to the old water mill and to the hidden gorge Gorg d'Abiss with waterfall. Back to the village, we take the cycle path to the small church of Santa Lucia in Pratis (14th century), which has been completely restored in 1998 and where interesting frescoes have been discovered. We walk to the village and visit the church tower of Tiarno di Sotto, the second highest in Trentino.

We start our walk and take the path called “senter de le vache” and go up to Bocca Saval, where we continue, passing along trenches of the First World War, to the top of Cima Parì. The view opens beyond the lake and mountains of Ledro, until Lake Garda and the Dolomites. Following a stretch of the “Sentiero della Pace”, we get to the Rif. Pernici nearby Bocca Trat.

Through the village centre we reach Barcesino and continue on the Way of the Cross, which ends with 74 steps, to the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, called also “Madonna of the Crutches” because people, who had leg diseases, invoked this Madonna.

From the Rifugio we take the path that leads to Malga Guì through the green forests of Val Concei. At the malga we continue towards Bocca dell’Ussol, a pass between Valle di Ledro and Val Giudicarie, from which we can admire the whole Val Concei and the mountains of Adamello. The last part of the path is in the sun and a little bit steep.
After lunch, close to a small chapel built in the trenches of the Great War, we come back along Val di Lomar.

We go up through the trenches built on the hill “S. Stefano” and learn about the Garibaldi fight in 1866 and all the events that strongly affected our valley during the First World War. Then we continue through Val Concei, until the spot, that Garibaldi and his troops reached in the fight.

HIKING PROGRAM - THE GATE TO VAL GIUDICARIE
From the Rifugio we take the path that leads to Malga Guì through the green forests of Val Concei. At the malga we continue towards Bocca dell’Ussol, a pass between Valle di Ledro and Val Giudicarie, from which we can admire the whole Val Concei and the mountains of Adamello. The last part of the path is in the sun and a little bit steep.
After lunch, close to a small chapel built in the trenches of the Great War, we come back along Val di Lomar.

We walk downhill towards Riva del Garda, first along the mule track that dates back to the Middle Age and led to the old harbor of Ponale on Lake Garda, then along the superb Ponale Road, built in 1851 according to the project of Giacomo Cis and carved in the rocky walls perpendicularly the Lake.

We get organized to go up by car to the parking below Malga Trat. We start our walk and take the path called “senter de le vache” and go up to Bocca Saval, where we continue, passing along trenches of the First World War, to the top of Cima Parì. The view opens beyond the lake and mountains of Ledro, until Lake Garda and the Dolomites. Following a stretch of the “Sentiero della Pace”, we get to the Rif. Pernici nearby Bocca Trat.

HIKING PROGRAM - ALONG TORRENT MASSANGLA
Along the torrent Massangla, we go first to the old water mill and to the hidden gorge Gorg d'Abiss with waterfall. Back to the village, we take the cycle path to the small church of Santa Lucia in Pratis (14th century), which has been completely restored in 1998 and where interesting frescoes have been discovered. We walk to the village and visit the church tower of Tiarno di Sotto, the second highest in Trentino.

HIKING PROGRAM - To Lake Garda
From the parking space we take the path, that through the wood leads to Passo di Le, above Pregasina , from where we enjoy the first view over Lake Garda. We continue toward Malga Palaer, where we stop for lunch and go to the most beautiful panoramic view point over Limone, Punta Larici. We walk back to Pregasina, keep admiring Lake Garda.
