Pharmacy Lab Foletto's Museum

In this museum are displayed machines and equipment which are part of the Foletto pharmaceutical laboratory’s history, from the beginning of the 20th century. The laboratory, started and run next to the chemist’s shop, was a real pharmaceutical workshop, albeit small in size, in its pioneer days. Its vast production ranged from injection phials to fruit syrups and included many registered medicinal specialities, but after two world wars and the changing times, much of the equipment has become outdated, giving way to nowadays industrial products. The Foletto pharmacists continue however to produce with the same care and professionalism, as a hundred years ago, many syrups and liqueurs (you can learn all about them by visiting the site at its products pages) and they are pleased to welcome you to this small museum for a taste of past and present times, inspiring a longing and love for true old time craftsmanship.
