Via ferrata, alpinistic routes, free climbing practice walls

The via ferrata Foletti-Susatti is not very difficuLt, because quite short, but very exposed and striking. Together with the path nr. 470, it allows you to make a tour around Cima Capi, vertically on lake Garda. The equipped path of the crest CasËt-Corno, on the south side of the valley, is not very difficult but it requires a certain attention. It offers beautiful views on lake Ledro and in July the path is surrounded by colourful rhododendrons. In Ledro Valley there are not many and big climbing walls. Some alpinistic routes have been opened in the southern mountainside of Monte Vies, in the Concei valley and in the rocky walls of Mount Cima Capi. "Regina del lago" (Queen of the lake) is a practice wall, newly equipped, in the calcareous cliffs of Cima Capi vertically on lake Garda. It offers several ways with different levels of difficulty. You find the information and the instructions at the start point. Thanks to its exposure to the sun, you can climb there also in winter. To reach it you pass through the first tunnel of the "Via dello Sperone", beside the new tunnel, which leads to Riva del Garda and after few minutes walk you see the path, which goes up, on the left side of the road. "Al Pizzocol" is a small practice wall situated in loc. Ex-Centrale in Concei valley. You can reach it also by car.
