About long excursions, for expert hikers, we suggest the "Sentiero della Pace" (Path of Peace), which goes along the Austrian Military Front during the WWI and that can be covered in more than one day. You can stop for a while or overnight at the Refuge Nino Pernici situated at the Trat Pass (tel. 0464-505090, tel. Refuge keeper 340-5293570), or camp out in the several bivouacs (former shepherds's huts). This mountain area is wild and unpolluted, that is why there are no big touristic and alpine facilities. Also the path is fascinating, which from Ledro Valley leads to Valvestino through Tremalzo Pass.
