 Located on the north-west side of Lake Ledro, Pieve di Ledro has a range of tourist accomodation and facilities. The name comes from the Latin word "Plebs" that means people and shows the place where the people assembled particularly for religious meetings. Pieve was the centre of the Ledro comunity because in the past the power belonged to the prince-bishops.
Pieve di Ledro is an excellent starting point for hikes in the mountains and for mountain bike excursions.
Mezzolago, near Pieve, is a small village at the outlet of the Valle di Dromaè and has a natural botanic garden with many rare endemic species.
